SPA 384 – Internship for Translation/Interpreting
Under faculty supervision, a student undertakes a project at an translation/interpreting bureau or an translation/interpreting department of a company or public organization for the interpreting certificate. Students must take one internship for each certificate; a translation internship will not count for the interpreting certificate, and vice versa. A community service-oriented internship is preferred. Internships may be completed for 1.5-3 hours; 3 hours are required for the certificate program.
Prerequisite – Spanish 381 or 382; POI.
