CTi is a full-service linguistics agency that is located in Charlotte, NC. It provides a range of services to a variety of clients, such as law firms, advertising companies and international marketing agencies, in over 65 languages and dialects.

Due to liability issues, interns are not permitted to work in the field, however they may be hired to work in the interpreting department.

CAP is a smaller translation/interpreting firm that provides services to all of North Carolina and Southern Virginia. The company specializes in Spanish interpreting and translation, as well as in Sign Language interpreting.

Interpreting interns may be hired by CAP, however, full time interpreters have priority to all assignments.

Language Resources provides a variety of services to clients, such as individual/private translations, business translation/interpreting in 46 languages, foreign language instruction, and English as a Second Language courses.

Language Resources will take on interns in the area of translation, however, an intern will not be placed in the field in interpreting unless he/she has exhibited sufficient expertise and reliability.

Spanglish Unlimited offers services such as translation, interpreting, training courses and seminars, and an "immersion excursion" to Costa Rica (learning Spanish through immersion). All services are offered in Spanish and English.

Interns will have the opportunity to experience in the field practice in both interpreting and translation in a variety of practice areas (legal, medical, etc.). Spanglish Unlimited needs as much advance notice as possible.
